Frederick County was also the first in Maryland to open a Court Help Center that assists with both District and Circuit Court matters. Since 2024, the Maryland Judiciary no longer shows cases ending in dismissal, nolle prosequi, or acquittal in public search results, nor stet cases three years or older. The physical records are still available at the Patrick Street courthouse for those who need them.
